I won I won

I was beyond excited to find out that I won a giveaway from My Sweet Savannah.  That particular day was a really hard day, as I'm sure you can all relate too.  And low and behold I get an email that I've won a gogo voyage travel bag.  I truly never win anything.  I love how the Lord will use the most unforeseeable things to bless us.  Not to mention we were leaving town the next day so when we arrived home just yesterday what was waiting for me?  But a package.  Don't you just love getting packages in the mail.  I had to stop my husband from opening it for me.  It was like Christmas and I wanted to open my own package.  Here is what I won!

It has a built-in retractable handle, great for flying.
The best part is that with as much traveling as my husband and I do, it could not have been more perfect.  I cannot wait to fill it up for our next trip.
Thanks again My Sweet Savannah for a wonderful giveaway.

New Offerings at Hillhouse

Just finished redoing my booth at the Mercantile and adding new finds.  It is always amazing to me how much stuff I can cram into one little space.  I've been called the "queen of the little stuff" as you can see is true.  Little stuff just seems to find me and multiply itself.

I hope you have a wonderful day today whatever the day may hold!!

P.S.  I just won a giveaway over at My Sweet Savannah I cannot wait to blog all about it!

4th of July with family and friends

The Lord has been teaching me many lessons this week, one of those lessons was learning to let things go...Because we had family visiting from out of town, and we had just gotten back from Vegas the day before.  I was unable to truly prepare for our 4th of July get together like I would have liked.  If you know me, you know that I like to be organized and prepared for any event, well that just wasn't possible this time.  So I had to really wing it!  And guess what, it still worked out just fine.  The table wasn't as fancy as I would have liked, and there were no decorations to speak of, but just having family and friends over for a meal is what it is all about.
The Candy Bar is ready check!

 Prep station ready check!
Table is full of food check!

Desserts are out check (my favorite part)!
My family has arrived and what a wonderfully happy motley crew we are!
(as you can see we don't take professional pics, we just point and shoot)
The sun is going down and we are ready for some fireworks!
again not the best pics, but you get the gist!
I hope you had a great day with family or friends.  Every day that passes, I'm learning more what matters most.  A clean house with everything in its place, or a home full of craziness and chaos with those you love.

Back in Town and getting ready for the 4th

My Husband and I just got back from a trip to Vegas, which I will be blogging about soon, hopefully.  But for now we have family in town for the 4th so I wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July early!
